'Hasui's Dream'
I had some trouble capturing the detail of this one with the digital camera, hence the smaller image underneath. I fell in love with this print by Kawase Hasui, bought from the Freer gallery in DC. Falling asleep one night, I saw distance between an eye and its eyelid and imagined water between them. Hasui's boat and its fisherman now float in the calm warmth of the eye's lake.
